- Abstract
- Design and implementation of e-Navigation structure for maritime safety has become a hot research topic in recent years. There have been a lot of requirements of the aids to navigation of VTS for preventing maritime accident. These accidents cause huge amount of damage such as environmental damage from an oil spill, human life and property. This paper aims to design of next generation VTS architecture and aids to navigation structure based on situation awareness. The proposed system provides timely decision supporting mechanism using situation awareness, reasoning, risk management and also includes aids to navigation structure for secure navigation.
