최근 기하급수적으로 증가하는 모바일 디바이스들로 인해 5G 네트워크에는 엄청난 양의 트래픽 처리가 계속적으로 요구되고 있다. 또한, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)가 탄소 배출에 미치는 영향이 점차적으로 증가하면서 녹색 기술에 대한 관심도가 증가되고 있다. 이러한 상황 가운데, 증가하는 트래픽을 효율적으로 지원하는 동시에 탄소 절감에 효과적일 수 있는 스몰셀 기술이 차세대 네트워크 유망 기술로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 스몰셀 네트워크는 밀집된 배치로 인해 이웃 기지국간 심각한 간섭이 발생하게 되므로, 이러한 간섭 문제는 스몰셀 네트워크에서 반드시 해결해야하는 매우 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 스몰셀 네트워크에서 기지국의 전력을 제어하여 기지국간 간섭을 효과적으로 줄이고 에너지 효율을 증가시키기 위해 다중 에이전트 강화학습 기반 이진 기지국 전송 전력 제어 기법을 제안한다. 시뮬레이션을 통해, 제안 방안이 항상 최대 전송 전력을 사용하는 기존 방안보다 에너지 효율 측면에서 더 우수한 성능을 가짐을 보인다.
