Abstract
As mobile devices such as robots and automobiles are diversified, demand for wireless time-sensitive services is increasing rapidly. In this paper, we propose a new frame structure to meet the absolute time synchronization (ATS) requirement for wireless time-sensitive services and introduce a rount trip time scheme for propagation delay compensation to show that it satisfies the requirement. It was shown that the simulation results considering hardware impairments achieved an ATS accuracy of 0.5 μs or less even in a poor propagation environment.
