본 논문에서는 DFT를 활용한 순차적 스펙트럼 센싱 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 FFT를 이용한 센싱 알고리즘의 경우 FFT의 특성상 한번에 모든 주파수 성분을 구하여 임계값과 비교하는 구조로 불필요한 계산량을 포함하고 있다. 제안하는 센싱 알고리즘에서는 DFT를 활용하여 우선순위에 따라서 주파수 성분을 순차적으로 구하고 이를 임계값과 비교하여 신호의 존재 여부를 판단한다. 제안하는 센싱 알고리즘은 기존의 FFT를 이용한 센싱 알고리즘과 유사한 검출 성능을 제공하면서 신호의 조기 검출 여부에 따라 스펙트럼 센싱에 필요한 계산량을 현저하게 줄일 수 있다.
