Abstract
RFID has been considered as a prerequisite for the Internet of Things (IoT). As the number of smart objects with RFID tags attached increases, a tremendous amount of data will be produced by them. While batch data processing platform (e.g., Hadoop MapReduce) could be applied to analyze a large volume of data, it is only suitable for non latency-sensitive applications. In this poster, we focus on performing real-time analyzing of EPCglobal network data. We present an integration of a modern real-time data processing engine (Apache Storm) with our IoT EPCglobal network named Oliot.
