- Abstract
- In this study, the maintenance priorities of the water pipes in the case study area in South Korea was evaluated incorporating two aspects that need to be considered in evaluating the maintenance priorities of water pipes: ‘deterioration’ of pipe itself and the ‘risk’ of pipe failure for which the indirect evaluation method established by the Ministry of Environment in South Korea and the concept of considering likelihood and consequence of failure of a pipe was used, respectively.
