Additional Media Services Using UHD MATV

- Abstract
- This paper presents a method for additional media services using high data rates of cable transmission interval in UHD MATV(ultra high definition master antenna TV). ATSC 3.0 UHD TV system has high oder QAM(quadrature amplitude modulation)s. The cable transmission interval of UHD MATV has nearly AWGN(additive white Gaussian noise) channel characteristics. So a high order QAM, such as 4096QAM, is to be applied for the cable transmission interval to obtain high data rates for additional media services.
