Abstract
This study presents an optimized implementation of a lightweight cryptographic algorithm designed to enhance the security of control data communication between the RC controller and the drone. The LEA-GCM algorithm was implemented on a low-power software platform based on the ARM Cortex-M4 processor. Our experimental results suggest that this implementation meets the critical performance requirements for drone RC security by achieving minimal power consumption and low latency, potentially improving the overall security of the drone system.
