Methods for Managing Geocode Indicating Alert Area of Emergency Alert Messages via Mobile Network

- Abstract
- This paper discusses a method for determining and delivering geographical alert areas to send emergency alert message via mobile networks. The determination of these alert areas can vary depending on the types of disasters and the government department managing the alerting system. We examined the geocodes used in other countries and analyzed version-based and hierarchical approaches for synchronizing geocodes across transmission systems. Additionally, we propose a strategy for integrating this method into the current systems.
