Abstract
UAVs (Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles) are crucial for non-terrestrial networks, particularly in 5G and beyond. UAVs serving as 5G BS (Base Station) effectively extend cellular network services to areas lacking terrestrial infrastructure. This study introduces the MHMI (Movable High-Capacity Mobile Communication Infrastructure) system, which uses wireless backhaul in mmWave (Millimeter-wave) frequency bands on UAVs and details performance results from field tests.
