Abstract
The evolution of urban environments into smart cities promises increased efficiency, sustainability, and safety through the integration of technology and data-driven management. This paper explores the key components of smart cities, focusing on their flexibility, sustainability, and safety measures. We examine city-level management strategies that leverage these technologies to create resilient urban ecosystems. As urbanization accelerates and new technologies evolve, the need for intelligent city management becomes critical. Smart cities utilize ICT to enhance urban services, reduce costs, and promote sustainable practices. Additionally, the "Safe City" concept integrates technology and urban planning to improve safety, mitigate risks, ensure accessible healthcare, and enable swift emergency responses.
