Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the conformance testing results for the 5G NR PUSCH modem. The proposed software-based modem offers the functional split of the sub-parts of modem of PUSCH processing: UL-SCH encoding, modulation, scrambling, de-scrambling, channel estimation, equalization, log-likelihood ratio (LLR) demodulation, and UL-SCH decoding. Based on the conformance test requirements provided in 3GPP TS 38.104, we show that the minimum requirements are satisfied and suggest optimization algorithms that enables further performance enhancements.
