Abstract
We present wireless transmission and access technologies currently under study and consideration, with the aim of enabling ultra-high-speed, ultra-low-latency wireless communications in the THz band. Our efforts encompass techniques aimed at achieving high antenna gain, mitigating severe RF impairments, and implementing multi-band multi-connectivity to address the limitations of sub-THz band wireless communications. Recent advancements in artificial intelligence technology, particularly in conversation, image, and video generation, are expected to drive numerous innovations in 6G mobile communications. Leveraging AI, especially in radio channel prediction and compensation, radio access, and network optimization, we are developing Tbps wireless communications. In this paper, we discuss aspects of artificial intelligence applications relevant to wireless access and data link control.
