Abstract
With deploying heterogeneous communication devices with different kinds of access networks, it is one of the promising services to transfer an active session from one device to another. IETF SIP can provide the ubiquitous service regardless of underlying networks and device types. In this paper, we investigate two mainstream using SIP, IMS and P2PSIP, and propose interworking architecture to provide session mobility as well as user registration and session establishment. © 2010 IEEE.
