Abstract
This paper presents a recent research work on the streamlined hemispherical far-field antenna measurement systems supporting various testing scenarios across the millimeter-wave/sub-terahertz (mm-Wave/sub-THz) spectrum. Three use cases of distinctly different antenna types and feed interfaces are investigated utilizing this measurement system with multi-functionality and cost-effectiveness. Particularly, simple fixturing methods of the sample holder and anti-vibration metallic weights of the rotary stage are used in the proposed far-field system to enhance the measurement accuracy and cost-effectiveness despite maintaining the multi-functionality. Three use cases are demonstrated utilizing each exemplified sample. Finally, the main features and further research possibilities for real-life demonstrations of typical mm-Wave/sub-THz antenna module applications are discussed.
