Abstract
We propose a wireless fronthaul link with ultra high-speed and low round-trip-time delay, which utilize the sub-THz band as a carrier frequency that can be interoperable with currently deployed optical fiber-based mobile fronthaul network equipment and off-the-shelf MSA-compatible optical transceiver. We also verify the technical feasibility of our proposal by measuring bit error rates and end-to-end round trip time delay using a commercially available 25 Gb/s SFP28 optical transceiver and a fronthaul network tester.
