Abstract
A Ka-band output multiplexer for a geostationary orbit satellite is designed electrically and mechanically. The electrical design result is realized dual TE114 mode cylindrical cavities and has manifold-coupled configuration. A mechanical design is verified by structural analyses. Thermal analyses calculate temperature rise and its effect on electrical performance is applied in electrical tuning.
