Abstract
In this study, we propose a method to analyze the assistive effect of a lower body activity assistance device using the EMG(electromyography) signal of the quadriceps femoris and the moment change during body movement through a force plate, and analyzed the results. When the user was subjected to 30 squat loads, we analyzed how muscle activity and muscle fatigue changed depending on the lower body assistance using the EMG data of the quadriceps. Accordingly, we defined the mean moment radius to analyze how the body's balance improves during the squat process, and confirmed that the balance can be improved depending on the lower body assistance. Based on this study, we plan to develop a support algorithm for the active lower body support system.
