Abstract
Recently, due to the development of IoT, smart environments such as smart cities, smart farms, and smart healthcare are being developed. Internet of Drones (IoDs), one of IoT devices, is being applied to smart cities and smart farms in particular to provide convenient services. However, IoD is a heterogeneous device and has resource constraints, so it is vulnerable to cyber security attacks. To solve this problem, authentication and key agreement systems using PUFs that can provide secure communication in IoD environments are being studied. In this paper, we describe general security vulnerabilities as well as modeling attacks that can occur due to PUFs, and analyze the security of authentication and key agreement systems in IoD environments that have been recently proposed. In this paper, we present solutions to complement these security vulnerabilities. In addition, this paper proposes a PUF that combines Vector Quantized Variational Autoencoder (VQVAE) and Deep Hashing Network (DHN) that can solve modeling attacks.
