Abstract
We have studied the performance of the IEEE 802.11p system in mobile vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) channel. To evaluate the performance of the wireless access for vehicular environment (WAVE) system, computer simulation has been performed. The channel models are AWGN and WAVE channel which was measured in spring 2006 at a frequency of 5.9GHz in the metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia area.
