Abstract
For large CFD/FEA unstructured grids, we propose an importance-driven hybrid reduction: explicit decimation for low-importance regions and learning-based reduction for salient subvolumes, achieving 3–8× size reduction with ≈ 99% field accuracy and higher Vol. FPS at matched cells.
