GNSS(글로벌 항법 위성 시스템) 송신 안테나는
항법 성능 향상과 서비스 신뢰성 확보를 위해 L6 및
S 대역에서 고출력·고효율 특성을 동시에 만족해야
한다. 또한 위성 플랫폼의 제한된 탑재 공간을 고려할
때, 안테나는 두 대역이 동일한 물리적 부피를
공유하는 구조로 설계되어야 한다. 전 지구적 서비스
커버리지를 확보하기 위해서는 [1]–[2]에서 제시된
바와 같이 ±9.4° 빔폭 범위 내에서 최소 16.0 dBi
이상의 방사 이득을 확보해야 하며, L6 대역(1.278
GHz ± 20 MHz)과 S 대역(2.492 GHz ± 8 MHz)을 모두
포함하는 충분한 대역폭을 지원해야 한다.
본 논문에서는 공유 개구 구조를 기반으로 이중대역
동작이 가능한 고이득 원추형 헬릭스 소자를
설계하고, 고출력·고효율 요구 조건을 만족하기 위해
공기-충전 사각 동축 전송선(AF_RCTL) 기반 급전망을
적용한 배열 안테나를 제안한다.
