- Abstract
- A multi-mission GEO satellite, COMS was launched in June 26, 2010. After that, the COMS Satellite Ground Control System (SGCS) constructed by ETRI has been used for satellite mission operations. COMS is a multi-purpose satellite which collects meteorological images, captures ocean images, and provides Ka-band communication services. Therefore, it is important to perform various missions without any problem as well as maintain its attitude and orbit. In order to support this operation concept, SGCS provides robust and reliable satellite telecommand operation system. In this paper, the telecommand operation system will be presented to perform the mission operation of the COMS satellite for mission life time.
