Abstract
Increasing of digital image data, needs for effective indexing of contents and fast retrieval. In this paper, we propose an ROI-based image retrieval system on mobile device using global feature. It extracts a feature using concentric circle partitioning for robustness to non-geometric transformation and using 3D histogram for robustness to geometric transformation. For matching a query with image database, it uses Hamming distance and Sum of Absolute Differences for speed. The experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm is a fast and good performance under various transformations.
