Abstract
Heterostructures of superconductors and topological insulators (TI) have attracted continuous attention due to the proximity effect, which can induce exotic quantum states such as Majorana fermions. While early studies predominantly focused on junctions based on low-temperature superconductors, subsequent research has also explored high-temperature superconductors like BSCCO, which offer favorable surface roughness. In this study, we investigate the properties of TI/superconductor heterostructures using YBa2Cu3O7-δ (YBCO) thin films. We systematically varied the surface states of the YBCO films prior to the deposition of the topological insulator Bi2Se3(BS). By conducting transport measurements and comparing the physical characteristics across junctions with different surface conditions, we aim to elucidate the role of interface quality on the superconducting proximity effect.
