Abstract
This paper evaluates the coverage and performance of a Wi-Fi/LoRa hybrid maritime IoT network in Ulsan Port using NS-3 simulation. The simulation reflects actual base-station locations, anchorage areas, and vessel distributions. The results show that Wi-Fi provides localized high-speed connectivity, while LoRa offers wide-area coverage, confirming their complementary roles in port-scale IoT services.
