Abstract
This paper presents a laser frequency stabilization system for Rydberg–atom–based electric field sensing in the GHz–THz region. A Rubidium saturated absorption spectroscopy (SAS)–based atomic locking technique was applied to stabilize the probe laser in a multi–laser excitation system. Frequency stability was evaluated using Allan deviation and overlapping Allan variance analysis. Experimental results show that the atomic–locked laser provides improved short–term and long–term stability compared to the free–run condition, with reduced frequency drift and enhanced performance for high–sensitivity electromagnetic sensing applications.
