- Abstract
- This paper proposes a mobile-based personalized cultural heritage docent service using an image retrieval engine to provide customized viewing experiences. To ensure robust performance in mobile environments, we employed a ViT-based retrieval model with area cropping-based preprocessing. Experimental results demonstrated a Top-1 accuracy of 88.01% and a high-speed inference of 85.97 ms, validating the system’s suitability for real-time services. Furthermore, we present a detailed design to expand this platform into an autonomous curating robot featuring a feedback loop that responds to visitor inquiries in real time.
