통신과 센싱 기능을 동시에 수행하는 ISAC 은 2023 년 6 월 ITU-R 에서 승인된 6G 사용 시나리오 중 하나로, 3GPP 6G
Rel-21 의 Day 1 규격 기능으로 유력하다. ISAC 이 도입되는 6G 이동통신시스템은 기존 5G 의 표준절차 기반 위치측위 및
센싱의 한계를 넘어 통신 기능의 지원을 바탕으로 초정밀·초절전 센싱을 구현할 수 있는 핵심 기술이 규정될 수 있다.
본 논문은 2025 년 ETRI 가 개발해 시연한 1-TRP 기반 CUPPS-2025 의 PoC 플랫폼 구성과 핵심 시스템 절차 기술을
소개하고 센싱지표인 거리 추정(ranging)에 대한 초정밀 성능을 고찰한다. 이어 성능지표 위치측위의 10cm 급 초정밀
성능을 시연하기 위해 3-TRP 환경으로 확장한 CUPPS-2026 의 PoC 배치 시나리오를 소개하고 검증 계획 및 PoC 배치 시나리오를 제시한다. 또한 CUPPS-2026 을 이용하여 동적 UE 의 초정밀 센싱이 가능하다면 이를 이용해 특히 bi-static/multi-static 센싱 모드에서 가장 큰 문제가 되는 송신 타이밍 에러 저감이 가능함을 향후 연구 방향으로 제시한다.
