- Abstract
- This paper discusses the virtualization of the Network Controlled Repeater (NCR) and its evolution toward Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). It highlights the necessity of virtualization in NCR and proposes a virtualization framework. Additionally, the paper explores the need for NCR expansion into NTN and presents a corresponding framework. Lastly, it introduces the current design and implementation status of virtualization-based NCR at ETRI.
