- Abstract
- Enhanced 9-1-1 (E9-1-1) Service is a public safety feature that allows customers to report an emergency or request emergency assistance by dialing the 3-digit telephone number "9-1-1." Emergency calls originated in this manner are then routed to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) based on the location from which the call was originated. In this paper, We review standards of E-911 services and consideration VoIP Architecture for E9-1-1 services using SIP protocol.
