- Abstract
- With open market platform for media services or applications, 3rd party service providers can register and provide their own services. Under such an environment, developing solid IP media QoS/QoE measurement system and providing measurement results to 3rd party service providers are required. In this paper, we present IP media QoS/QoE measurement system we developed and open interface technology of the system for 3rd party service providers. With the system, 3rd party IPTV service providers or IPTV service subscribers can monitor their service quality without any expensive measurement system. Network providers can achieve user perceived end-to-end quality assurance. © 2010 IEEE.
