Abstract
In the inaccessible environments, when a sensor node is out of order or battery, maintenance could be costly. To reduce the demand for an overhaul, a sensor node should be reliable as much as possible. For improving the reliability, the control processor should be first optimized, because it performs the most complex and vulnerable functions. Low peak power affect the reliability greatly. We proposed a method to reduce the peak power using fine grain asynchronous FSM. Simulation result on sensor network workload shows about 1/50 lower peak power on average.
