Abstract
Modern games pose high demands on graphics performance and CPU power which is usually only available for high end computers and game consoles to play the high-quality games for users. The game industry which was dependent on high-end hardware such as game console and set top boxes has been changed due to the advancement of cloud computing technology. The goal of the research is to provide high-quality games on lowend PC and mobile devices without specialized hardware throughout the network game streaming. In this paper, we describe the architectural design of the rendering system for streaming game services. The real-time streamingbased game service platform is consist of three systems such as distributed service system which performs game execution and user input processing, distributed rendering system which renders the 3D game scene, distributed encoding/streaming system which performs the video/audio encoding and streaming for users. Distributed rendering system interacts with two other systems to provide the rendering images to users for game streaming.
