Abstract
The Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS) named Chunrian is the first geostationary satellite developed by local developers funded by Korean government Ministries. Ka-band communication payload, as a part of COMS program, was developed by Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute(ETRI) with Korean local companies. After successful launch, In Orbit Test(IOT) was performed to check if Ka-band communication payload was not damaged or performance was not degraded by the launch. The IOT results show that Ka-band payload was not damaged and performance are not graded after the launch.
