In the convergence environment of broadcasting and telecommunication, many new promotional techniques have appeared such as on-line coupons combined with TV commercials. We present a real-time personal commercial monitoring system that can be used as a new promotional technique. The proposed method is designed for robust commercial identification from broadcasting contents including video-on-demand contents.
