Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a routing information management system using extended ISIS routing protocol. This system is the routing information management for routing protocol network such as MPLS and GMPLS networks using ISIS-TE. ISIS is commonly used to an IGP in MPLS and GMPLS networks to determine the topology over which LSPs are established. TE extensions have recently enabled ISIS to support SPF tree calculation upon different purposes, thus possibly achieving optimal path computation and helping improve resource utilization efficiency. In this paper, we explain the approaches of the building routing information, topology, and link state including traffic engineering using an extended ISIS routing protocol.
