- Abstract
- This paper reviews the terminal middleware architecture, service scenario and functionalities. This architecture is currently targeting for the web-based IPTV service. But, this middleware architecture is not limited on the specific domain service. Therefore this can be expanded for advanced personalization service. Before supporting personal media service, traditional media middleware needs to review for the design expansion, and in this paper, we are based on the functionalities of IPTV Web-based terminal middleware. As well, this paper shows an implementation case of the terminal middleware functionalities to support personal media service.
