- Abstract
- An intelligent surveillance system supporting wireless mesh network communications is proposed. The proposed surveillance system has many unique features such as multisensor detection, data handover and wireless mesh network technology. In the proposed wireless mesh network technology, multiple gateways are employed to improve QoS. Indoor test results showed the usage of multiple gateways is necessary to satisfy QoS for the real time video streaming service.
