Abstract
For using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) effectively, GNSS Ground Station is needed. GNSS Ground Station helps to improve GNSS availability and usage as monitoring GNSS signal and analyzing GNSS performance. Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) has developed the technology of GNSS Ground Station. The technology of GNSS Ground Station contributes to establish GNSS infrastructure. GNSS Ground Station performs GNSS signal acquisition and processing. This system generates error correction and monitoring information which are distributed to GNSS users. GNSS Ground Station, which has developed by ETRI, consists of GNSS sensor station, Monitoring and Control subsystem, and Uplink station. GNSS sensor station contains receiver and meteorological sensor. Monitoring and Control subsystem monitors and controls sensor station. Uplink station transmits correction information to navigation satellites. The general GNSS Ground Station has GNSS Control Center which generates error correction information. But this subsystem is excluded in the developing scope of ETRI. This paper describes the implementation of Monitoring and Control subsystem among the components of GNSS Ground Station. Monitoring and Control subsystem acquires observation data and navigation data which are received by GNSS Sensor Station. Monitoring and Control subsystem generates standard format data to transmit to GNSS Control Center. Monitoring and Control subsystem consists of data acquisition module, data formatting and archiving module, data error correction module, navigation determination module, independent quality monitoring module, and system operation and maintenance module. This paper introduces the algorithms which are applied in Monitoring and Control subsystem and describes performance of them.
