Abstract: This paper suggests the practical approach to mitigate phase noise by using simplified CBC(Colavolpe, Barbieri, and Caire) scheme for linear modulation in DVB-RCS NG standard. The proposed scheme illustrates in detail to implement robust DVB-RCS NG receiver compared to previous study and shows the comparable performance with the results that RCS study group released in DVB-RCS NG standard activities. © 2011 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc.
