Abstract
In this paper, we propose a multiuser multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) beamforming technique for guaranteeing cell-edge performance which relies on allocation of multiplexing streams, location-based scheduling and modified zero-forcing beamforming (ZFBF) called repetition ZFBF. The simulation resultsshow that the proposed ZFBF scheme can improve the cell-edge performance at any signal to noise ratio (SNR), and also outperforms conventional ZFBF in terms of the system performance at high SNR with interference from other cell.
