Abstract
This paper presents a systematic approach for analyzing the bit error probability of pilot aided orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) systems. A comparative analysis with the conventional pilot pattern schemes, overlapped pilot scheme and interlaced pilot scheme, is developed. The results obtained here can be directly applied to evaluate the performance of OFDMA systems in mesh networks as well.
