- Abstract
- Internet is rapidly increased, and various services are deployed over internet. It is an important issue to support emergency service in VoIP, because many users want to use the emergency service similar to the service in PSTN network. As VoIP has been rapidly deployed, VoIP users also want to use emergency service in VoIP. Emergency service in current VoIP only connects an emergency call to PSAP, but VoIP users may want to have a specific emergency service in accordance with the procedure they stored in advance. In this paper, we describe a method to provide an additional service for a user to be served by pre-defined emergency procedure.
