Abstract
A new level shifter circuit suitable for depletion-mode oxide thin-film transistors (TFTs) is proposed and fabricated. In this circuit, a single 10 V input signal is used to generate 20 V output signal. The n-channel oxide TFTs are turned off with negative gate-to-source bias when the output becomes high by bootstrapping. Simulation and fabrication results show that the level shifter works successfully with the depletion-mode oxide TFTs.
