Abstract
Gaze tracking is to detect the position which a user is looking at. Previous remote gaze tracking system has the disadvantage of high cost and large size. To overcome these problems, a web-cam based gaze tracking system is newly proposed in this research, which can acquire both eyes of user at the Z distance of 60~90 cm (between the camera and user"s eye). Through the experiments with various zoom lenses, the working distances of X, Y, and Z axes, and the image resolution of iris of the proposed gaze tracking system were compared.
