- Abstract
- This paper proposed a system for continuously tracking the location of transporters that is one of the main moving objects in the shipyard. The proposed system is working based on GPS and RFID sensor. Even if a transporter moves to the region where GPS signal is not received, the system could be continuously tracked the location of the transporter with precision by RFID tag. Through the field test of several times, the system was showed excellent results regardless of the location of the transporter, and we could be confirmed that the result could be applied to the shipyard.
