- Abstract
- The present invention relates to a non-temporary computer readable recording medium that stores bit streams formed by a scalable coding method; the method comprises the following steps: deciding whether to apply an interlayer prediction to an enhancement layer or not; if yes, forming a conclude reference image according to a decoded image of a reference layer, and building a reference image list for a current block of the enhancement layer, wherein the reference image list comprises the conclude reference image; executing inter-frame prediction for the current block of the enhancement layer according to the reference image list; coding mark information, signaling the mark information to the enhancement layer, and indicating whether the inter-layer prediction can be applied to the coding enhancement layer or not according to said determination; if not, skipping the step of forming the conclude reference image, wherein the built reference image list does not comprise decoded image of thereference layer or the conclude reference image.
