- The present invention relates to a video data decoding method and a video data decoding apparatus. One embodiment of the present invention provides a video data decoding method including the steps of:receiving coded video data that includes multi-view video data and depth data corresponding to the multi-view video data; obtaining motion data of inter-view prediction for a coding unit of the codedvideo data from the depth data; performing inter-view prediction based on the motion data; and recovering the video data according to the multi-view video data including the coding unit and the depthdata based on the inter-view prediction.
