Abstract
The invention provides a signal multiplexing device and a signal multiplexing method. Disclosed are a signal multiplexing device and method using layered division multiplexing. The signal multiplexingmethod, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a combiner for combining a core layer signal and an enhanced layer signal in power levels different from each other; and a time interleaver for performing interleaving which is applied to both the core layer signal and the enhanced layer signal.
